Truss member overrides may only increase the automatically required size. Any smaller selection is ignored and reset to Auto.
Header override only applies when it is equal to or larger than the calculated minimum, or when the header calculator has specifically approved a smaller cut-down option, such as 8x10 cut from 10x10 stock. Post size stays Auto by default based on the selected header face width, but reps can manually choose a post size and clear it to return to Auto.
